ExtraTainment selected for Cartoombria 2000 festival

Dutch online entertainment company ExtraTainment.com is presented this week at the 6th International Animation Exhibition Cartoombria 2000 in Italy. The Cartoombria Exhibition will be held from November 23 through November 25 at the Palazzo Gallenga in Perugia.

The 2000 edition of Cartoombria, entitled ANIMutATIONS, showcases the best in contemporary animation from the USA and Europe. It focuses on digital and multimedia animation with special emphasis on games development. During the festival, ExtraTainment will be presented on workstations displayed at the exhibition venue.

ExtraTainment.com has been included in the exhibition for both its cartoons and games. Cartoombria’s ANIMutATIONS website says about ExtraTainment.com: “This very trendy Dutch site offers the dirty Recycle Dog and the mocking Dr. Parkinson (daily), the creative F Word (weekly) and malicious games (monthly).”

Cartoombria is sponsored by the Department of Arts of the Italian Ministry for Cultural Assets and Activities, the University of Perugia, the Academy of Fine Arts, and Animation World Network.

ExtraTainment.com is a BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) Interactive Entertainment Award nominee and has been nominated for the Cool Site of the Year Awards 2000.
