ExtraTainment increases its capital Rotterdam, The Netherlands, January 3, 2001 PRESS RELEASE EXTRATAINMENT.COM INCREASES ITS CAPITAL Online entertainment creator ExtraTainment.com has increased its corporate capital. The Rotterdam-based company, which was introduced in July of 1999, decided to make this move after it received widespread attention and interest from international media and mobile service providers. To allow for the further development of ExtraTainment.com b.v., the company and its current shareholders have established a Holding (ExtraTainment.com Holding 1 b.v.), which owns 100% of ExtraTainment.com b.v. shares. The Holding’s corporate capital amounts to 5 million Euro. ExtraTainment.com b.v. has been valued in the Holding’s books at 1 million Euro. Upon its foundation in 1999, ExtraTainment.com b.v.’s capital amounted to 50,000 Euro. ExtraTainment.com is a BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) Interactive Entertainment Award nominee. It is a winner of the Cool Site of the Month Award and has been nominated for the Cool Site of the Year Awards 2000. ExtraTainment.com offers online entertainment content on a daily basis, such as cartoon animation and games. In addition to its own website, the company creates licensed entertainment for other parties.
