ExtraTainment selected for Animac 2001 Rotterdam, The Netherlands, January 31, 2001 PRESS RELEASE EXTRATAINMENT SELECTED FOR ANIMAC 2001 Entertainment company ExtraTainment has been selected for the International Annual Spanish Animation Show ANIMAC 2001 in the category of Best On-line Animation Websites. ANIMAC takes place from the 1st through the 4th of February 2001 in Lleida, Spain. ExtraTainment will be screened on Saturday the 3rd of February 2001 at 16:00h in a special on-line animation program. Other on-line animation websites in this program included Tim Burton’s Stainboy and Pussy Hunt by John Kricfalusi. The screening will be presented by Javier Candeira, creative director and co-founder of Interactele, a company dedicated to interactive television. ANIMAC is entirely devoted to showing and promoting the art of animation. The five-year-old event is a joint venture between the School of Fine Arts of Lleida in Spain and the Lleida Culture Department. It aims to be the launching platform to the best art-related animation produced worldwide. ANIMAC 2001 wants to celebrate the capability of animation to mix with other artistic disciplines such as music, painting, photography, performances, digital arts and graphic design.
